  If I could give negative stars I would …. My experience every time I come to this Valvoline location is disgusting!!! How they treat the female co worker is repulsive! How they talk to each other is repulsive! I have never been to a more UNPROFESSIONAL business. Every time I go to Valvoline on Carolina Beach Road, they’re cursing at each other, I’m hearing offensive music on the radio, people are not wearing the uniforms or if they do, it’s not the correct uniform with the correct name so if I call the customer care number I have NO IDEA who to tell worked on my vehicle cause who even knows if that’s their names !!!!! They damaged my air intake while trying to remove my engine air filter AFTER I told them to NOT touch my air filter so now I have to wait for customer care to send my vehicle to one of they appointed mechanic shops. They didn’t even bother to get my information!!!! They wrote “X-X” for a first and last name. They wrote a fake address along with a fake email address on my invoice!!!!! They also re-wrote with sharpie marker on the sticker that print out so I’m unsure of the actual mileage I’m supposed to go back for an oil change. They keep telling me that a full synthetic oil change is good for 7,000 miles ….. I will be contacting my attorney due to this and I hope someone from the state comes and watches and shuts the store down!

  The Inspection and Oil Change was performed in a timely manner. The staff was friendly and curteous. They let me know things I should keep and eye on for peak vehicle performance.

  PSA: BEWARE OF VALVOLINE ON CAROLINA BEACH ROAD!!! I had an oil change from Valvoline at 5561 Carolina Beach Road on 8/26. Shortly after, I started experiencing issues. I took it back to Valvoline and they stated that there was no oil on the dipstick and that I had a busted gasket. I informed them that they did the previous oil change and this was clearly their negligence. They ADMITTED FAULT and comped the oil change. I expressed that I was concerned about potential engine damage. I immediately filed a claim with Valvoline corporate. A few days later, my engine light came on and I took it back up to Valvoline. It showed a P0301 misfire. The Valvoline tech told me to take it to Car Guys. I immediately took it to the mechanic (the Valvoline area manager called me and was upset that I didn’t drive my car 2 hours south to Myrtle Beach to “his mechanic”). Car Guys found internal damage due to oil starvation. The cost of the repair is $3100. I called and informed Valvoline. The area manager responded back and has denied the claim, refusing to pay for the repair. DO BETTER VALVOLINE! My car is damaged due to YOUR NEGLIGENCE and it is your responsibility to make right. Negative stars if I could!!!

  I went in for my oil change. Several workers from your shop helped. In their routine check points they corrected a low tire issue my car had. Also, I asked if they could do an inspection of my vehicle too, they said yes and prepared to do this, but in looking at my registration card, they realized the inspection was not due for another 6 weeks. So the man told me "inspections are only good for 30 days. It is too early for you to get this done. You should get this at a later date " I appreciated this information. And I plan to return to their location to have this done when it is the right time. Thank you for doing an efficient oil change, for adding air to a tire that was low, and for running an honest business and saving me from paying for an inspection that would have expired before I would use it! Yes, I am highly satisfied with this visit to your shop! Thank you for a job well done!!!
