Less than two weeks ago my fiancé took her vehicle over to them for an oil change and while she was there she called me stating the gentleman told her that her serpentine belt was dry rotted and cracked and even went to the extent of showing her what an old belt looked like. Well me being mechanically inclined I asked her how much and I remember it being over a $100 and told her not to do it and that I would change it the following day. The next morning I went to check to see the condition of her belt and it looked almost near new. I called them and spoke to the manager and then I proceeded to bring the car to them so they could point out where the so called dry rot was visible. They stated their “belt guy” was on lunch and I had two techs including the manager looking dumbfounded at it and couldn’t show me any damage to the belt. The manager thought the “belt guy” may have recommended a new belt after pointing out a small fiber on the side of the belt which was so minuscule it was probably like that from factory. I just wonder how many poor individuals they have pulled this on the increase sales. I do not trust this company anymore. They seen an opportunity because my fiancé being a woman might not think twice about changing it after scaring her with the display rotted belt they shown her. Do not get your oil changed here. They’ve left my airbox cover off once. I ignored it. They broke a vacuum line on another vehicle. I ignored it. And not to mention they topped of my fiancés washer fluid and didn’t put the cap back on and I had to fish it out of the engine bay and luckily it was still there. Don’t trust this company. Crooks. It’s a shame because I have been getting my oil changed here since they opened. One bad tech spoiled it for me.
