My card declined unexpectedly, and they had the audacity to claim that declined transactions were not canceled automatically, and that I would have to pay the balance or have the police called on me. I did not believe a word this woman said--either she was blatantlu lying to me, or she had hit approve before the card actually was swiped, in which case $10 is not an altogether unreasonable price to pay for that carelessness, which, as a cashier myself, I think is just sloppy--but nevertheless, I retrieved three different cards and asked if they could split the balance between the three cards. Not only did they blatantly not listen to me, and attempt to charge the full balance to each card in succession, they had the audacity to demand that I come back later and pay it, because, and I quote, "I'm just about ready to toss you out on your head!" At which point I turned on my heel and walked out with a cold, "You may do that." Never. Again.
