  Getting to stay in the vehicle is a plus. Also the guys pointed out additional items that may need attention but didn’t push them on you to increase their sales.

  Despite being packed all day, I received outstanding service from Leo. He was pleasant and welcoming, and promptly took care of my oil change. Additionally, he shared that my air filter needed to be changed and showed me the accumulated dirt on my filter. Thank you!

  I took my Audi Q5 2023 to Valvoline Waxhaw on March 19th for a simple oil change, and it has turned into a costly and extremely frustrating experience. During check-in, the technician struggled to open the coolant cap, and I saw the internal spring fly off. Despite that, he proceeded to refill and close it. Another technician then attempted the oil change but could not remove the existing oil filter. Even though they brought out a new filter, they did not replace it and told me it “wasn’t dirty,” which is unacceptable for a basic oil change service. The very next morning, my daughter was driving when the car displayed a warning: engine overheating — stop immediately. We had to pull over and then carefully drive back to the same location. The manager acknowledged that the coolant cap was broken and said they would fix it, but the issue was not resolved. We then took the vehicle to an Audi dealership, where they confirmed the coolant cap was broken and not properly tightened. This caused a loss of pressure, coolant overflow, and damage to other components. We are now facing a repair bill of $1,311.88 for the coolant tank and related parts. What has been even more disappointing is the complete lack of accountability and follow-up from Valvoline. I filed a claim through their customer service line and was promised a callback by March 23rd. Since then, we have called multiple times on March 23rd, 24th, and 25th, and each time we were promised a callback at a specific time. The area manager has not called us back even once. We even had the Audi service manager personally call Valvoline to explain the situation and confirm the cause of damage, yet we are still being ignored. Meanwhile, we have been without a car for several days, with no resolution, no communication, and no accountability. This is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable from a company of this scale. I specifically called ahead to confirm they could service an Audi Q5 and was assured they had experience — clearly that was not the case. At this point, I am requesting immediate contact from the Valvoline area manager or higher-level corporate representative to resolve this claim and reimburse the damages caused. I strongly advise others to think twice before trusting this location with their vehicle. “Claim number available. Requesting immediate escalation to regional management.”
