Tried to get oil change, tire rotation & state inspection done this morning. Told I would have to leave my car ALL day until 6 PM! There were 4 mechanics / staff in empty garage standing around chatting not busy at all . Front desk person said they were short staffed at his desk position and that was cause for delay . I'm so confused?
We have taken 4 cars in our household there repeatedly over the years and generally pleased. Highly disappointed today. Since the Indian Land location closed the Waxhaw location has been too overwhelmed and unable to handle local demand . Guess we'll try elsewhere.

I booked a tire change through Amazon at this Goodyear Auto Service location, and also booked a state inspection through the Goodyear website so I could get both done back-to-back. The website confirmed the state inspection, sent multiple follow-up reminders, and never mentioned any problem.
When I came to pick up my car after the tire change, I was told they don’t even perform state inspections on Sundays and don’t accept online bookings for them in the first place. I only found this out after the tire work was done, which completely defeated the purpose of scheduling both services together.
The person at the front desk claimed he had told me this earlier (he hadn’t) and was passive-aggressive instead of simply apologizing.
I wasted my time and left frustrated. If they can’t honor online bookings or clearly communicate their services, they shouldn’t offer them on the website. One star — well deserved.
Added : Also noticed they inflated my tires to 39 PSI instead of the recommended 32. Attention to detail clearly isn’t a priority here.
