  These guys are awesome, and really went above beyond service and drove to another place to get my part I needed. Very friendly, even tho it was really cold outside.

  I have had a slow leak in one of my tires for several months now. I originally asked the Toyota dealership to check the tire for a leak, and they said they found no issues. Fast forward to today, I decided to stop at Mavis Tire because I’m tired of looking at the low tire light on my dashboard even after refilling it myself. I did not have an appointment. I simply walked in and was greeting by Brenda and David. They were extremely kind and professional and made it easy to request service at the front desk. I left to do some shopping at the Food Lion, and so Brenda called me to update me that they were able to find the leak! She informed me of the cost of the repair and made sure I wanted to move forward with the repair. The service technician, Ben, made quick work of patching my tire and I was in and out in just under an hour!

  If I could give 10 stars I would! I stopped by this location after my TPMS light wouldn’t turn off. I had just had new tires put on at a different location earlier in the day and this location was actually closer to home. Anyways, they determined that something was wrong with the rear sensors and was going to take a look. Once the car was in the bay they realized that my wheel lock wasn’t in my car (the other location forgot to put it back). An employee was headed to that location to pick up tires and offered to get my wheel lock for me. They informed me it would be about an hour and that was no problem! When I went back, they immediately put my car in the bay and within 5 minutes determined that one of the sensors had been broken when the tires were installed at the other location. The employees here went above and beyond replacing my sensors right away, I wasn’t charged for the broken one. They are very on top of communication and honest with their work. They had me in and out in about an hour. I’m truly grateful for everyone that helped me today and answered all my questions! Thank you for turning this experience around for me.

  i love this place! this is my first time here and i read the reviews and came in. i had a slow leak bc of a nail in my tire and they took a look and said they could help me out. the man at the front desk with the awesome beanie was very sweet and welcoming. the price was very affordable and i 100% will be coming back for any more tire maintenance! thank y’all!

  This is only for the Swansboro location! The day after I purchased a set of tires for my Audi Q7, I was driving through Swansboro and the ( ! ) tire light came on my dash. So I popped in the Mavis office to have them check my tire pressure. With 3 guys standing around the counter and one young lady at the computer, I was finally greeted with a upward "eyebrow flinch" as to say, what'cha need? So I explained how I had just bought a set of tires the day before, (all be it from another Mavis/Family Tire in MHC which was a GREAT experience and get 5 Stars) and I had a warning light just came on. I was told by one of the workers (who was so busy holding his end of the counter down) that I could to use the air pump outside but they were "too busy" to assist me with it. I said "Really, as I looked 4 people staring at me who quickly dispersed! So I went to pump and a young man (20 something) who did not even work there, pulled up and asked if he could help me. I guess I looked confused because I didn't see a function to just check the pressure. There was none. This was my 5th set of tires from Mavis. This location has customer service SUCKS! But I guess that's the world we live in now! I'm sure I just wasted 10 minutes of my time with this rant!
