    These guys are outstanding professional, honest, and extremely helpful. Not only did they give me 50% off my oil change, but they also provided a free coolant flush after discovering the previous shop in California hadn’t done it correctly. Excellent service thank you!

    This location is clean and friendly. It seems like the staff are still learning their jobs. Their service was good. However, I will be taking my business elsewhere due to an employee displaying the Confederate flag. When I spoke with the manager, he told me the employee has the right to display the Confederate flag. My response is that NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO PROMOTE VIOLENCE AND HATRED. The Confederate flag has no place but in a history museum to expose the atrocities which it represents. All others should be burned. If the management of Valvoline Surf City refuses to ensure the employees at their establishment will not display the Confederate flag at their place of employment, then members of this community should not support this business. The bigotry of racism, violence, and hatred has no place here or anywhere else in our nation. ONE NATION under God. ONE flag. Every person who displays the Confederate flag deserves the opportunity to repent of their sin before God and their fellow man. Take down your Confederate flag NOW.
