Now , mind you I was the only one in the store at that time. He seemed as if he really didn’t want to help me. I shared with him that I had taken my car to a dealership and I didn’t have any code problems,but1. I told him my check engine light had started flashing and it hadn’t before. I also told him that my car was driving funny and I didn’t know why. He first told me that he didn’t have the equipment to check the diagnostic. I knew that was a lie. I had my car checked there many times with the nice older gentleman. The older man would use the code reader to explain to me what was going on. Well long story short, the man with the ponytail finally followed me to my car. I could tell he really didn’t want to help me. He reached down and put the code reader ( which he said he did not have earlier) I then asked can you tell me what the code of reading? He said it’s back firing and I asked what the code was he still didn’t give it to me. He just said that it was back firing I said did it have 02 sensors ready as well? He said yea. I was horrified. I normally order my parts from the store. I was so disappointed on how I was treated, that I went up to the other parts store and bought my part from them. The man at AutoZone use the same machine that the man at Advance said was not the code reader and told me exactly what was going on with my car and gave me the codes that the man with the ponytail wouldn’t give me . I have been in that store before and the same man with the ponytail really didn’t wanna wait on me. I’m just one that believes all people are created equal and all money spends the same. I feel if you don’t wanna do the job find something else.
