Smh was told I couldent even open a box to compare the parts without paying first... then had to show them where to type the plate number in the system to pull the vehicle up. Ill give it another shot in a year or so... till then won't use my commercial account there till they get there crap together
- JMJoe MooreFeb 9, 20262.0Went there to get a battery for a 1998 Chevy pick up. The lady behind the counter said that a tester should be put on it to be sure. It was a free test so ,sure, why not? A guy comes out with her to show her how to use the tester (she was a new hire, apparently). So, we go thru the motions and I get told that the alternator is bad because it was showing 14 volts and it shouldn't show more than just over 13v. This is almost a 30 year old truck, not new one. It doesn't have intelligent charging. I didn't push the issue because rarely does anyone listen to customers anymore. I just went across the street and bought my battery. UPDATE: Due to review response, I will definitely give it another go.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
