I was completely satisfied with my recent service received at Pinehurst Toyota. When I found out that Nathan Yarborough was employed with Pinehurst Toyota, I knew that I was going to get my vehicle serviced at Pinehurst Toyota. Nathan serviced my 2016 Toyota Camry at Griffin Toyota. Nathan’s level of customer service is exceptional and amazing!

I made an appointment because I received a recall in the mail on my 2024 Santa Fe. Coincidentally it was also time for my oil change and tire rotation. When I called for an appointment the operator put me on hold to check if they had the part for the recall. She said it currently wasn’t in stock but it had been ordered and should be in the following week. Based on that info I scheduled a date the following week for service. At today’s appointment I waited over an hour while the service was performed. When the service was complete I was informed the recall part isn’t in stock and they are not sure when it will be in. So now I have to come back again to address the recall. Why wasn’t I informed the part was not in stock and given the option of rescheduling? I work as an independent consultant and my time is valuable. Now I have to take time out of my day again to have the work done when the part arrives. VERY FRUSTRATING.

My new car reached 1000 miles so I wanted an elective (not part of the usual coverage) oil and filter change and was willing to pay for it myself. I called for a price quote, with my car's model and year, and was told it would cost 79.95. I made the reservation that same day, and got in soon after arival without waiting. When I started the "registration process" I asked about the price and was told the same number, 79.95. Then I waited in the very nice waiting room. When I was told my car was ready (which didn't take too long) and to settle the bill, I was told the cost was $130. I asked what happned to the 79.95 and was told the car took 1 quart more than quoted, but that $13 extra for the quart didn't make up the $50 difference. I was given, though, a 20% discount (for questioning the charge??) and paid 110.00. (even though 80 + 13 for the extra oil, 7 for tax totals to 100). Perhaps there is a new math I am not familiar with.

I unfortunately have been going to this dealership since I first moved here in May 2002. And have several Toyotas. And unfortunately, throughout the years I have seen this Toyota dealership screws not only myself ( military) but elders out of thousands of dollars. Moore country is known to be a military and retirement community. And this photo is another example of the unprofessional, childish, monopoly behavior At this dealership. I was in there to get a part for my vehicle and Sergio chaparro Gave me a quote and printed it out, but he decided to blur out the part number and the description. As if we can't do a google search and find the part number and description. And a part that he quoted me is a piece of plastic that is anywhere between $60-$130 at other dealerships not $300 and then have to buy them as a pair totaling $600 for this piece of plastic. This is not Colonel Sanders, 11 herbs and spices recipe or Coca-Cola secret formula. It’s a part number that is public information. Pinehurst Toyota is behaving like a monopoly, (not the game). There have been times where I would purposely remove the spare tire from my car and put it in the garage, Then I would ask for them to put air in the spare tire and When it came time to check out, they would inform me that they did put air in the spare tire and I would ask " how did you put air in the spare tire when it does not have one"? So I never know if my oil is truly changed or if the service was done on my car. This should not happen to anyone especially to military or elders. I will be driving to Sanford for my car service

Three hours for an oil change, minor tire repair and post sales issue. Nathan in service was friendly and tried to right a bad experience but after almost three hours it was too late. There was a promise made by ourselves person who was no longer employed at the dealership which shame on me if we’re not getting in writing but you should be able to trust people by their word which I know better. After explaining part of the reason for our visit to three people we still do not have resolution. Only to be told that Xavier was looking into it when I asked to follow up with Javier He had left and he would have to make the decision, not an acceptable answer. I personally spoke with another sales manager Hillry ? Only to have him explain that apparently they have already lost money on the sale when we purchased a car And without anything in writing from our sales person they were not willing to do anything to honor what appears to be a minor cosmetic on exterior trim. Since apparently it is their policy to share their profit margin on vehicles I would certainly If you plan on purchasing one from there. For what it’s worth they’re waiting area is nice, Most of the staff was friendly and courteous and I believe only a personal level most of them that we were cared for as customers. But it was made very clear that the bottom line of profit comes before customer service. Will be taking our future service To another dealership.
