He looked confused and mumbled something under his breath and said “I’m not replacing this battery.” and offered me a refund. I would assume an auto parts store would hire somebody who at least who knows how to change a battery? Update I drove to the next Advanced Auto Parts location up the road and a sweet lady named Regina replaced my battery in 5 minutes. She was so sweet and helpful!!! Maybe Advance Auto needs to send Jonas up the road for some training since this young lady knows more about cars than him!!! Maybe she can help with his attitude also!!!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
