    May 3 ,2026 we spent the day with David looking at camper not really knowing for sure just what we wanted. He was very thorough asking us what we were looking for but beings it was going to be our first time purchasing we didn't really know. But after looking at a couple we knew what we liked and what we didn't like. So we were about to figure it out. David was excellent with us. He spent the entire day figuring out what would suit our best needs. Exhausted we purchased an Alliance Paradigm. We are very happy with our choice.

    Update: This place is the worse. Ive left 3 messages via email and they reply to the review telling me to contact them - again! Why dont they contact me!?! Hardly an attempt to fix it. If I was the owner I would teach them how to answer and place phone calls. The entire company is afraid to pick up a phone! Orig: Can't seem to get them to want to sell us anything! Hopefully someone else will reach out to us someday since we have tried to pay for an RV all weekend but cannot get anyone to engage with us!!!! Thursday: Wow, Iman promised to call 2 or 3 times via email but never did. He did however set up a walk through for an RV we didn't buy because of him! Seriously, that guy is awful. Made a terrible experience worse compounding it with their idiocy. Sunday: Iman reached out to set up an appointment to remedy the situation which was encouraging. We replied but again, no response all day. Communication is a Monumental challenge at this location and so frustrating considering they are attempting to make us happy?! This does not do it. Sat: Had a great experience with Aaron this week, but now he's a ghost. Went to sign papers to purchase our new RV with an appointment that had been discussed with at least 3 different staff beforehand, and were greeted as if we were intruding on their day and rude for showing up. After no reply from General RV, and lots of tears, we realize we probably dodged a bullet. Read other reviews and see this is not uncommon. Super sad day. 😄 TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

    As RV park owners and avid campers, we give this place 5 stars. We pulled in to General RV on a whim while driving back to SC from Greensboro. We were in the market for a C-class, and figured this place must have some on the lot. Right when we walked in we were greeted by Anthony, who would become our Sales associate. Great guy!! Well, they say, third times a charm, and it was third C-class we viewed that we ultimately purchased 4 days later! Everyone we encountered (Anthony, Gabe, Brian, and all the folks at the counter) were very pleasant and genuinely seemed happy to be working for General RV, which speaks volumes! We had a great experience and were treated very well! If we are ever in the market to purchase another RV we will definitely consider General RV as a place to shop!!     We’ve bought from 3 national RV dealers in the past 15 years. I can truly say the General dealership in Salisbury, NC, just outside of Charlotte, was the best buying experience I’ve had. We bought a Brinkley 3200 and wanted the Gen Y hitch and double pane windows, which was a special factory order. Usually this take 30 to 90 day however we lucked out and they got us on within a week. Yes, probably involved a bit of luck and would not be the norm but they worked it. David was our sale associate and was fantastic. Keep us informed with every step of the process. The day we purchased our unit, it was a long day. Arrived at 9 and left at 2. It was an organized process that kept us moving, no downtime. The person who walked us through the unit was an x tech who knew his stuff and spent about 2 hours going through every part of the unit. From the salesman to the parts counter employee, everyone was happy, fun and seemed to generally care about us. Anyway, great experience and highly recommend General.

    If I could give zero stars I would! Worst service department ever!!!!!!! If I can give one piece of advice to anyone reading this review, DO NOT take your RV to General RV in Salisbury! We bought our 2024 Super C in FL from General RV. Of course we had a great experience on the buying end of things. Once we needed warranty work, as all new RVs do, we reached out to the Salisbury location which is about an hour from our home. I could write a book on here of the absolute horrible customer service we had received. ā€œOver promise & under deliverā€ must be their motto. 1st time our RV was there for over 2 months. Got the call it was done & ready to be picked up. Walked around the RV with the service agent & guess what….the problem wasn’t fixed. Took them another month to get the 1st issue corrected. Forget getting in touch with your service agent. They do not return calls. They do not keep you updated. We’ve had 2 more service issues that have ended poorly. Just picked up our RV today after it being there for 2 weeks & not getting worked on. This is after the service agent said the entire job would take 2 weeks. My husband finally said ā€œforget it, we’re picking up our RVā€. Thank goodness my husband is handy!
