  I had a great experience with Safelite AutoGlass for my windshield replacement. At first I visited the shop. I was told by the technician at the front desk that the crack in the windshield was not a small repair and that I needed to contact my insurance company to see if they covered it. I was appreciative of the advice. When I contacted my insurance agent I was covered! I was connected with the Rocky Mount office who set up my appointment. My appointment window was 8-12, and my technician, Nicholas, called early to give me an ETA. I really appreciated that he arrived on the earlier side of the window! He kept me updated via text throughout the entire process and was very professional. Once the job was done, he gave me clear post-operational instructions so I knew exactly how to care for the new glass. I want to thank Nicholas for his excellent communication and efficiency. Great overall experience.

  I visited the Rocky Mount location of Safelite Repair on February 27, 2026, around 4:35 p.m., and the customer service was absolutely ridiculous. The young lady at the front desk greeted me nicely at first, but that quickly changed. I asked for a simple price quote for a small crack in my windshield (less than six inches). I had already done my research on the Safelite website, which clearly states that cracks under six inches can typically be repaired without replacing the entire windshield. She never once got up to even look at the crack. Not once. She just sat there, asked for my car information, and then casually told me it would be $1,054. For a small crack. When I questioned why it would cost over $1,000 for a minor repair, she immediately insisted the entire windshield had to be replaced because I have a newer car with push start. I explained I was not looking for a full replacement, just a repair, and she kept cutting me off and telling me to “call your insurance” instead of actually listening or explaining anything properly. The whole interaction felt dismissive and lazy. It honestly felt like she was trying to push an unnecessary full replacement without even taking two seconds to inspect the damage. What makes it worse is that I called the Raleigh Safelite location right after. Without even seeing my car, they understood exactly what I was asking for, scheduled a mobile repair to come to my job, included free windshield wipers, and my total came to $279. That’s a HUGE difference from $1,054. And they were professional. Rocky Mount needs serious improvement in customer service. It felt like I was about to be overcharged simply because they assumed I wouldn’t question it. The attitude was nice-nasty, unhelpful, and completely unprofessional. I absolutely do NOT recommend this location. Save yourself the headache and go to Raleigh instead.

  Blaine was my technician, communicated well, called in advance with ETA, very friendly, finished with front window and wipers in a timely fashion and was very respectful, THANK YOU BLAINE 😊 Update a month later, just wanted to say it is such a blessing y’all have after pay, Fully paid off, thanks again

  My appt was 8:00 AM, I got there at 7:42 AM. Shop didnt open until 8:45 AM.... Very disappointed, price was higher than other shops as well..Safelite do better!!!!
