- DCDom CardoneJan 3, 20261.0Ordered a part, was told it was going to be there at a certain timego to pick it up and it hadn’t even been picked up for drop off, instead of informing me prior to pick up time I show up on time to find this out. Petty maybe but the lack of consideration is notable.

What are the signs of a bad car battery?
Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
