  This shop was a huge help as I was driving home via a back way and had my tire lights come on with the sudden change in temperature. My tire gauge wasn't in my care. They sold me one, double checked my reading on my challenging tire, and told me where the nearest place with air was. I'm grateful.

  Won't be back; this wasn't my first issue with poor knowledge here......Must be relations that keep him there. Always says they don't have. Problem is he has no clue; they do and did have. Just gotta get the part numbers for them. Then on 83 Oldsmobile he said no listing. Say what! Come to find out he looking under GMC. Argued with me and walked away when I told him to look under Oldsmobile but there it was. Got many cars I'm redoing and the location works for me; the employees definitely not so much.

  Although every experience with AutoZone has been positive, yesterday's was exemplary. I bought a battery there a little over a year ago. The service was good and the technician was helpful. However, the battery would die at the most inopportune times, leaving me stranded and having to rely on the kindness of strangers. Sunday morning was one such time. Luckily a neighbor had a jump box and was able to get my car started. I let it idle for over an hour hoping I wouldn't have a repeat. As I was driving, I thought, let me stop in AutoZone and see if I was covered because it was either a faulty battery or a bigger issue with the car draining it. Something I wasn't ready to accept. I was met by Justin in Richfield, NC. He was able to find the sale through my phone number, I didn't even have to have my receipt. Relieved he offered to test the battery. I figured it would test strong saying as it idled for a long time, which it did. I asked him if it were "normal" having to have a battery die four times in a year. He said absolutely not and that I was covered for a new battery. I jumped at the chance to make sure the problem was indeed the battery. As Justin pulled the battery out, we saw it had been sitting in a big puddle of battery acid. He took the pan in, tested it and determined it was indeed battery acid, the battery had been leaking. Justin then cleaned and treated the pan, all the contacts and installed the replacement battery. Justin took his time with me, never rushing the process while maintaining a model of professionalism that is rarely seen today! So kudas to Justin and AutoZone. I highly recommend any time you have automotive needs you visit your local AutoZone, you won't be disappointed. Very satisfied life-long customer! Meg Freeman
