It’s now mainly younger guys who seem to take their time. The last two times I’ve been there were for an oil change and an inspection. During the oil change, the mechanic failed to secure the splash shield under the car and I ended up having to pull off the highway because the metal was scraping against the road. I got it fixed at another Valvoline location and was never contacted about it. I later went in for an inspection and was told that my wipers wouldn’t pass unless I bought new wipers. The mechanic tried to sell me some, so I just left as my wipers worked perfectly fine. I took the car to a nearby Jiffy Lube and it passed with no issues. I won’t be returning here anytime soon.

- TMTodd MinearDec 3, 20251.0I tried to get a simple inspection done. Experience was poor and seemed dishonest. I pulled up to an empty store (all 4 bays empty, all doors open, not a single person in sight. It was cold out so they were probably trying to keep warm somewhere). I wait a few minutes, then another car shows up... someone comes out in about a minute and they serve the new arrival first. Not that big of a deal - they had 3 other bays open. I waited a couple more minutes and the manager came by and said he'd get his inspection guy. Another 5 minutes goes by... I see about 5 guys walking around but only the 1 car getting serviced and as I'm about to leave someone finally comes up to me. What's strange is he immediately pulls out a gauge and sticks it to the tire... stating the tread is too low and would fail inspection. I'd had enough by that point so just went home. I checked the wear bars on the tire and the tread is still over twice the height of the tread bars! Next day I took it to a different place, took 30 minutes and inspection passed. If the business needs to make more money, just charge more! There's no need to scam people.
