- SKSabrina KayDec 23, 20252.0Today was the second or third time I've been here. The first two times I was greeted, welcomed, and met with respect and courtesy. The manager was so kind and helpful! Yesterday, I tried to get my old truck inspected, but I waited and waited and no one came out to greet me. I decided to leave since it appeared they were mildly busy. Today, I tried again, and when I went, there was no waiting; so when I pulled up, the lady came out and asked what I needed. She did not greet me or even say hello. I explained my truck was 25 years old and only needed a safety inspection. She didn't reply, didn't even acknowledge that I spoke to her. Instead, she leaned over onto my dashboard and stared at my registration-- but she still never spoke to me. I explained again it only needed a safety inspection, but she still did not speak to me. Then she lead me to the waiting room and yelled at the other worker that an inspection was needed. She did not specify (after I told her twice) that it was only a safety inspection due to the car's age. The other worker drove my car into the bay, so when he got out, I explained it was only a safety inspection-- to which he replied "I know that" with an attitude 😒. There was a whole lot of not speaking to the customer today, and a lot of looking "miserable" at the workplace. When it was finished, the male employee came to open the waiting room door and literally used his index finger alone to push the door a little so I could open it. I don't expect doors opened for me, but that just signaled that it was not worth the effort for the customer. I interpreted that as rude and that the customer doesn't need to be treated like they're welcome there. I know these criticisms might seem small, but when your business is just starting out, you should probably be focused on earning customers and building a good reputation as the place everyone can trust with their vehicle. If I were the owner of this business, I would want to know how my customers were being treated day to day, so that was my real experience today. With Take 5 on the same street as you, I'd suggest you step up your customer service skills ASAP.
