Ok so yesterday 12/31/25 my daughter was dropping off her rental. We were helping her transfer her items from the rental to her personal car. We were parker right in front of the door. We began about 1445 and were done at 1500. During this time I saw three employees leaving apparently for the day. During this time not a single one of them said they were closing at 1500. So there we were at 1500 trying to turn the car in only to find the doors locked. How unsat is this? She left the keys in the overnight drop box but how hard would it have been to say we are closing and she could have taken care of everything while I transferred her items. Now before someone says they didn’t see us, we were larked directly in front of the large windows with all looking at us when we left. I have used nothing but Enterprise for military travel, now civil service travel as well as personal travel. This is the first time I have not been fully satisfied. My daughter has no idea I am posting a review but just thought this turn in experience was leas than satisfactory. The lock box sais she is responsible for the car until the next business day. Nope. It was turned at 1500 on the 31st.

Picked up my car a little after 12pm on a Saturday, the place was packed and the picked up process was rushed. Within 3 hours of having the car the rear view mirror literally fell off while I was driving down the highway. I immediately called the branch but they closed at 3pm, called roadside assistance to report it but they just wanted to tow it. Had the car dropped off the next day (I was supposed to have it for 4 days) and again the place was packed, the manager stated he would call me later in the week. He would not give me a refund but only charge me for one day. When the manager finally called me he proceeded to tell me that since I did not purchase their damage protection he needed MY insurance information to file a claim because “the mirror was attached when I picked it up” then when I’m trying to explain to him that this is on them he asked me if I adjusted the mirror wth. I didn’t but even still MIRRORS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE ADJUSTED.

First I would like to start off by saying my experience at this enterprise was terrible, the manager was very rude and i’m actually an enterprise employee myself over at the RDU location. My cousin and I had decided to book a rental at this location instead for a trip we took a couple months back, the car we rented was a hondai elantra, we noticed shortly after that the tags were expired also, my cousin who is 26 (not considered a young driver) booked the rental, so we were not charged a young drivers fee and would not be, but before we left the enterprise location I decided to go back inside and add myself as a driver as well (a 23 year old) because i’m sure i’d have to drive also because we were driving a far distance for our trip, but the manager failed to inform us that we would not be able to receive our $300 refund back that we paid when we booked our rental just because I added myself as a driver because i’m considered a young driver (although we brought the car back in perfect condition), if he would’ve let me know that when I went back inside to add myself I would’ve never added myself as a driver also, especially because I asked multiple questions when I added myself as a driver and when I called after my trip asking about my refund multiple people told me my refund would be back in my bank account soon, I never received it. When I spoke with the manager on the phone is when he was extremely rude and let me know I would not be receiving my refund back because I added myself as a driver, which to this day still doesn’t make sense to me, but I will never be booking with this location again is what I do know.

This is now my second time renting at the location on Spring Forest Road and Capital Boulevard and I must say Jeff never disappointment as he always go above and beyond to accommodate my needs. It’s a keeper!!

1-Star Review: Manager’s Actions Caused Me to Miss My Father’s Funeral
I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated by this Enterprise location. I brought the rental car back because it began shaking severely when I got on the highway, making it unsafe to drive. Instead of helping me during an already stressful and emotional time, the manager canceled my entire reservation without any explanation or support.
Because of this decision, I was left without a vehicle and ultimately missed my father’s funeral. There is no excuse for that level of disregard and lack of compassion—especially when the issue was caused by a mechanical problem with their own vehicle, not anything on my part.
I expected understanding, urgency, and assistance. Instead, I received the opposite. This experience has caused me emotional distress during one of the most difficult moments of my life, and I would not recommend this location to anyone.
I hope corporate reviews this situation and takes steps to ensure no other family goes through something like this.
