    I booked directly in advance and completed online check-in. Upon arrival, I was offered either an open-bed truck or a minivan, despite having reserved an AWD SUV for my trip. I was told, “sorry about that,” and advised to call other Enterprise locations to check their inventory. In other words, although the error was on Enterprise’s end, resolving it was left to me. I thoroughly enjoyed calling other locations—listening to automated messages about Enterprise’s commitment to customer service—while my trip was delayed. Ultimately, I was forced to cancel the rental altogether.

    After my insurance arranged an Enterprise rental car following an auto accident, I picked it up as assigned. When returning it Saturday afternoon, the location was closed (and remained closed Sunday). The site is near homeless encampments, making after-hours drop-off feel unsafe. A key dropbox was available, but a sign stated I'd remain responsible for any damage until they reopened. I drove it home and returned it Monday. Enterprise then charged me for 3 extra days at a higher rate (claiming I requested a larger car) plus added insurance, totaling over $300. The manager was unhelpful and arrogant. I do not recommend Enterprise.
