    I told my spouse to go to Advance Auto to purchase headlights for my vehicle and that they have let me borrow the needed screwdriver in the past when I installed blinker lights. That was the store in Durant road and Raven ridge. The store on Wake Forest road said they only did that with big equipment and made my spouse purchase an $8 screwdriver. I was disappointed when I heard that the customer service was not the same at this store. In the future I will not go to this store.

    Upon entering the store, I observed three employees — Jennifer, Greg, and Jim — engaged in conversation. Greg had his arms folded during this interaction. I entered the store in silence; I was not greeted, acknowledged, or asked if I needed assistance. It took me some time to locate the gloves I was looking for without any staff guidance. When I was ready to check out, I politely requested the employees’ names. They appeared puzzled and seemed upset by my request but eventually provided their names. They asked why I asked for their names and I explained that it was for survey purposes, after which I completed my visit and left. Observations/Notes: • Lack of initial greeting or acknowledgment. • No offer of assistance during shopping. • Staff reaction to name request indicated discomfort or defensiveness. • Overall impression: service was unprofessional and not customer-focused. Action/Recommendation: • Consider staff training on greeting customers promptly, offering assistance, and responding professionally to inquiries. • Monitor for repeated behavior to ensure improvement in customer service standards.

    Had trouble starting the car. They tested the system & replaced the battery. No problem since. I appreciate they test and will replace the battery. The staff is very accommodating when helping me. I feel very confident in their suggestions.
