The red-eyed staff has sold me the wrong parts a few times now, and moist recently wouldn't take back the incorrect oil filter they sold me due to 'new manager's policy' which meant they'd get 'chewed out' if they gave me a replacement. So I'm out $25 for the filter and oil I wasted. So they saved $10 to lose thousands more, sad. Will not be buying from Advance any more.

After checking to see which color I needed he realized the coolant tank was actually cracked-I was thankful the engine was still running! Manager Don then came over to help. He had a free moment and kindly helped me with the tank, filled it back up and then checked my lightbulbs. He then helped me replace two of them. This is a fantastic store to have in the neighborhood. They were helpful and quickly got me back on the road. And added bonus was Don patiently answered all my curious questions about how engines work-especially with the coolant process. I thinkI should have taken a mechanics class back in schools-it was fascinating! Thankful for the help.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
