I am from out of state and was getting an oil change prior to my 12 Hour drive back home alone With an infant. 3 1/2 hours into my trip home my Brand new car (7000 miles, first oil change) started flashing warnings for low oil and to pull over immediately. I was in a rural Area But luckily, was able to find a gas station Before I was stranded on the side of the road or my engine exploded. My car was pouring oil all over the ground. I was forced to stay in a hotel overnight and get a new oil change the following day, Which delayed my trip causing me to miss a shift at my job. I have contacted the store several times and spoken to numerous people And constantly given the runaround. I was given a personal email to send documentation to which also they will not reply. I am beyond frustrated and deserve compensation.

I don’t know what I’m talking about. This was not my experience at Jiffy Lube. They did exactly what I asked, they did provide recommendations, but were accepting of what I wanted to do on that day and what I would return to do later. This may sound like a small thing before a single woman. This is huge being heard being respected and not being over talked I truly appreciate these men and I will now no longer be going anywhere else for my oil changes or anything else that Jiffy Lube can provide. Thank you again.

This shop intentionally cut my coolant overflow hose running from my thermostat to my coolant reservoir in an effort to gouge me for additional revenue. The district manager vehemently denies that the employees did this but admits that it does appear the hose was cut by something. My hood had not been open for 6+ hours at the time I arrived at the shop for a simple inspection. I replaced my battery earlier in the day and specifically remember a full coolant reservoir and no coolant leaks or smell coming from the engine bay. The shop alleged that the hose was caught under the thermostat housing and rubbed up against something to cause the leak. The location of the leak on the hose does not align with any components that would have caused an abrasion on the hose that resulted in a leak. Within a couple hours, my coolant had completely drained from suitable levels because of the rate coolant was being expelled from the cut. My vehicle is now inoperable due to this malicious practice and the shop refuses to rectify the situation. It is very clear after removing the hose that it was scooped twice by a blade. One cut that was not deep enough to cause the leak, and then a second cut deeper that finally breached the interior wall of the hose resulting in the leak.
