- TPTodd Youngblood PhotographyJan 3, 20261.0Ordered parts(bushings) and made the mistake of paying for it before it arrived. Manager stated paying beforehand ensures that the supplier ships. So i did it. Now that the part can not be used because the entire "control arm" must be replaced, so I go back to get a refund on the item I never picked up. First they can't find the parts that I ordered. 10 Mins later they find two of them but not the others. Therefore I'm told they can't give a full refund because "they" can't find the remaining parts that "they" ordered. The entire time I have receipt in hand, and they know that I didn't pick them up, however I must drive back from SC to NC when the store manager gets back from vacation due to their lack of tracking. I'll follow up with how this plays out.............Never pay before the part arrives!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
