Got my own fittings and hose and went back to simply have them crimp my fittings onto my hose but they said they can't because they had nobody certified to use the equipment working at the time. Seem like they should have all employees certified to operate all equipment. What a sorry place. Definitely not there to help the customer. Would not recommend this place.

I contacted customer service twice, the store told the what they had done, and then they proceeded to cancel the order on their own accord rather than reschedule the delivery. We paid the extra fee and everything and now missing a day of work because I have a vehicle that I cannot drive without the part. The store never contacted me and just did whatever they want. They didn’t even have a reason with their own customer service. I won’t be giving my business to them or this company; I’ll stick with autozone.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
