  We’ve rented from this location a handful of times. However the last two times, I was allowed to go online and reserve a car, twice now, the first time it was at least 3 to 4 days in advance, and got a call the day before I was to pick it up and told that they had nothing available! This time, just yesterday, again! Allowed me to reserve the car and I get a call today that they have nothing available… what? Do you only have two cars on the lot to rent out? This being the only option in Mt. Airy NC is less the acceptable. I will not being trying again with enterprise, at this point, I’ll just go buy another car.

  I booked a rental car a week in advance expecting the reservation to be honored, but when I arrived I was told the vehicle was not available. It seems like the company allows “open” bookings even when they don’t actually have inventory to support the reservation. They mentioned they tried to call, but I was unavailable due to work, and their office hours made it difficult to call back. Regardless, if a reservation is accepted a week in advance, it should be honored rather than relying on last-minute calls to notify customers that the vehicle isn’t available. Overall, the process was frustrating and unreliable. I would recommend confirming availability very carefully or considering other rental options.
