  My rental experiences with National are always great, but this one specifically was above and beyond. Shuttle experience and being greeted at RDU was great, got a brand new Rav4 for a long day behind the wheel, and most of all, Sydney was great during my drop off at CLT. She explained charges very well/clear and was a huge help! Experiences like this keep me coming back!

  When I arrived, there was only one person working the desk. It took me approximately 40 minutes to get a car. The “Emerald” guy outside was basically just standing there pointing the rewards people to their vehicle. Maybe he could have helped speed things up with us regular folk. When I finally got to my car, it wasn’t even full of gas but I was so ready to leave I didn’t bring it to their attention. Usually don’t use National and I travel a lot for work. I’ll avoid it moving forward if I can.

  This was my first time renting at National and the experience was phenomenal. The gentleman who assisted me was kind, courteous and very helpful. I had a choice of some great premium SUV's. The return process was smooth and the gentleman who helped me asked ne if everything went well and dud I enjoy the car. Thanks National I will be renting from you again!! GREAT GROUP WHO ASSISTED ME. PLEASE GIVE THEM PRAISE FOR DOING SUCH A GREAT JOB.

  Usually National has been above and beyond. Traveling for 20 plus years perhaps is noticed. But my last rental vehicle was terrible. The vehicle was obviously smoked in by both cigarettes and weed. I did not really notice until the weather turned warmer and another co-worker also noticed. Truly unacceptable. If I was pulled over by law enforcement they would have noticed the smell of weed.

  No stars. I was quoted $350.67 for a three day rental. I was charged $722.97. I dropped off at Raleigh vs. CLT. Which I called and notified them. I have been trying to get in touch with the airport for over 3 days and have heard nothing back. I have now filed fraudulent charges with my Visa card. The company I work for advised me to do so as my quoted price went up 103%. I even turned the car in 3 hrs early. It was not a matter of picking it up early or dropping it off late. Terrible experience. Especially as an Emerald elite customer. I will now verify my charges before letting the agent walk away. I wish I could rate them no stars!!!
