  I've been renting from Alamo for many years for business and personal trips. My CONUS experience has been courteous and efficient service with no "damage" hassles. They have even bailed me out a time or two when I thought I had a better deal with a competitor and no car was available in a timely fashion.

  I unfortunately have to give Alamo RDU a zero star this time around. I was treated really badly. Which was a shock to me because I’ve been dealing with Alamo exclusively for years now. You all are the most military friendly and I like that. However, the service that I received from a worker name Elisa changed that for me over the weekend. She made threats that were not necessary at all. I plan on reaching out to corporate about this issue.

  Alamo Raleigh-Durham airport location should be very proud of their staff working the counter at the car location! The gentleman was fast and efficient! He walked us to our car - something I have not seen in a very long time. He offered us a cold water bottle as well. A great simple extra that we talked about with out friends! The only negative was through the app givign us the wrong walking directions to the pick up area. It was givign it to us for our drop off location which was confusing and cost us time finding the shuttle instead of the onsite counter as the app was telling us. Thank you!

  You’re better off hitchhiking. They gave me two defective rental cars. One had low engine coolant (didn’t find out until a day after I picked it up). I was told to drive it to a nearby office to swap it out (they refused to deliver me a new one). Second car had a busted trunk latching mechanism. Trunk was unlatched, but would not open. Not easy to deal with when I had a stroller and three suitcases. Plus, the lights would not turn off, so I had to worry about a dead battery overnight until I could swap the car out the following morning. I flew into town for a wedding, and had to deal with these issues during/after the wedding rehearsal and on the day of the wedding. Alamo’s idea of compensation was a $45 credit on my bill, and they didn’t even credit me that on the final receipt. Billed me full price for the rental. Do not trust this company. Do not rent from them. You will regret it.

  I was thoroughly impressed with the way they greeted and their friendly nature inlcuding the customer first and most importantly they walked me to the car to provide few options on which one to pick...i missed to ask the names but one gentleman and one lady who were working at the desk at RDU alamo center around 2:30 to 3PM on Nov 8th 2025...
