  We had an excellent experience with the staff at this Morganton, Gerber collision location! The receptionist was always courteous, friendly and patient with all my questions. Darren is a wonderful person; very knowledgeable about the necessary repairs needed. Just talking to him during the estimate appointment, I knew we chose to bring our vehicle to the right place! He truly values his customers and knows what he's doing! The repair team did a phenomenal job on our Tahoe! I highly recommend this location!

  I have had a car in the past that was in and out of the repair shop 11 times in the span of 3 months and that was still less infuriating than having work done by Gerber. so the car is there for 2 months getting a side of it fixed, they tell us it’s done so we drive down to pick it up. my fiance signs the papers and pays and when we get into the car we find a piece of the body just laying in the floor??? so we grab it and take it in and where like “hey isn’t this supposed to be on the car?” and the person responds with “yeah probably” with a laugh. we then have to wait for one of the mechanics to come out and put it on the car, when he does he screws in 2 of 4 of the screws and says it’s good and leaves. so we leave the lot, same day we discover the door sounds weird but we thought “hey it’s been in an accident maybe it just sounds like that” WRONG, gerber had replaced the paneling on the door and just didn’t put some of the pieces that connect it to the door there so it was loose and now sounds hollow when you close it. because of the paneling being lose the cord to the window button unattached from it and so the window stopped working and wouldn’t roll up, my fiance who knows nothing about cars had to take the paneling off and fix it himself. but that’s not the only thing they also forgot to put a screw in the panel below the door so now that is also coming off! ALSO the part of the car that i mentioned wasn’t on there and he only put 2 screws, yeah now that’s coming off too because he only put 2 of 4 screws in. they are probably going to respond to this by saying to contact them, but what’s the point when the outcome will be the car sitting in their lot for another 2 months while they fix these minor problems and then pay them thousands of dollars for it when they were already paid thousands of dollars to fix all of these issues the first time.
