- LBLisa BoyceAug 24, 20255.0One of the cleanest Convenience Stores I have been in. If traveling on I-77 their Bathrooms are super clean! Liners for baby changing tables! Staff friendly and just about any drink or snack you would want ! Definitely recommend stopping and will stop again myself! About a 3/4 a mile back on the I-77 North side! Mooresville Lake Norman Exit!
- SPSweet PeaNov 15, 20241.0Nov. 4th 2024 I believe it was between 2-3pm, my dad & stopped at 1008. Two things happened...1) my dad who has alzheimers used the restroom.. long enough for me to ask an employee to check to see if he was still in there. He said "no, no one is in there." I panicked and quickly checked the in the store, then ran outside around the building as quickly as I could, then went back in, ...and he was just coming OUT of the restroom. I don't understand how the employee didn't notice 1 man in a stall. Ugh! Scared me to death! 2) While waiting for my dad, I decided to quickly pay for the items I had been holding and as I walked up to the counter, the Asst. Mgr. yelled at me, "BACK!" LITERALLY POINTING HIS FINGER FOR ME TO MOVE BACK!! I asked, "Back? Back to this register? (the middle one) -he mumbled something, I don't really know what it was. Wasn't expecting "BACK!!" when I was just going to pay for the items! He was in a rotten mood I guess. No hello, no anything... I don't remember him saying "will that be all?" "Bye" "c-ya" ...nothing. If I had an employee like that, he'd have been reprimanded ON THE SPOT for snapping "BACK" AND pointing his finger to get back as if I were about to attack him! (I had walked to the middle register, but saw he was the register to the left-women's restroom side-so started to move to that one. There were no other customers at the counter!) I have no interest in going there again. Too many other QT's that are friendlier. The employees are a hot mess! One couldn't find my dad in stalls and the other one yelled at me! Ugh. I'm too old for that nonsense.

Once I kinda slapped my $20 bill on the counter because it had taken me a few extra seconds to fish it out of pocket making him wait. Was just hurried not trying to have an attitude of my own. He was bent and slapped my bills and change on the counter as hard as he could refusing to just hand it to me. I knew he was bent and just scooped it and walked. Too many times the hot food is overdone and too long on the rollers. Egg rolls like rocks. Otherwise the staff I will say is great. Very cordial and friendly.
