  If you’re looking for a place where "appointments" are treated like polite suggestions and the lobby atmosphere feels like a waiting room for a trial that’s gone off the rails, look no further. I arrived for my scheduled slot only to find out that "appointment" actually translates to "please wait for 30 minutes while we try to squeeze you in." I spent my time listening to the guy at the counter rotate through a Greatest Hits collection of excuses for why everything was late, broken, or mismanaged. I tried to check in, but was told someone would eventually talk to me. Apparently, that "someone" is still in transit from 2024, because they never showed up. The highlights of this Five-Star Disaster: A kid approached me to ask what kind of oil I wanted. Considering my car strictly requires full synthetic, this was about as comforting as a pilot asking a passenger which lever makes the plane go up. If I’d asked for conventional, would they have just shrugged and toasted my engine? Since there was no one at the counter talking to a mere customer, I didn't get a price until the work was done. It was, of course, significantly higher than expected. At that point, my options were "pay it" or "live at the shop forever." I chose the former, much to my wallet's dismay. They didn't bother to reset my oil life monitor, presumably to keep the element of surprise alive for my next drive. Most shops leave you with a paper floor mat. This shop decided to leave my entire glove box sitting on the floor. Apparently, the "experts" who insisted on checking a cabin air filter I didn't need couldn't figure out the complex technology known as "a hinge." If you value your time, your money, or having a dashboard that is fully assembled, I’d suggest literally anywhere else. I didn’t get a "warm fuzzy" feeling; I got a "running for the exit" feeling. Pro tip: Next time, if you see the glove box on the floor, you might want to check if they left a sandwich or a stray wrench in there too—at this rate, it’s a coin toss!
