I brought my car in and asked them to look at the tires and tell me what they thought needed to be done, which ones needed to be changed and to check for an alignment, however it just had one about 8 months ago. I waited from 9:45 to 12:15. No one came to talk to me about my vehicle, however I thought they were just busy with other customers. They consistently came and spoke to the men in the waiting room to update them and ask what they wanted done. When they finally came to talk to me they told me they changed all four tires and did an alignment. I asked why they didn’t ask me first and was told ‘Hey, I was just handed the work order when I got here”. They charged me over $600.00 without even asking me what I wanted done. Then I get in the car and the tire pressure maintenance indicator light is on. They said it would be another 30 minutes to fix that. It is clear that if you’re a woman by yourself, you will be treated and charged unfairly than if you are a man.

Their recourse? Drive it around a while so it can charge back up. This to a 75 yr old woman in 51 degree rainy weather, on a fixed income. Just go run out gas you have not budgeted for. Rather than listen to the concerns about the now damaged battery, they man-splained how the alternator charges the battery while the vehicle is running. Although true, this does not always work, speaking as someone whose battery died while the car was driving down an interstate. They could not have cared less. They got their $500+ and were done.
