    Keem & all the gentlemen at Mavis were such a Godsend! Their knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail truly sets them apart. While traveling with young sons, our van had an emergency issue. A quick Goggle search showed them nearby. I called & they said to come right on. They not only were able to get us patched back up, but did so in a very timely manner. Each interaction with every employee was a great one. I can't recommend these gentlemen enough. Go to Mavis, you'll be so happy you did! 110% recommend. Thank you!!! ***bonus that they have a tv & play area for the kiddos!

    Twice within a two month period I tried taking different vehicles there for an alignment and each time the guy went out to the parking lot with a clipboard to look at my car and came back stating that just an alignment wouldn’t be adequate, that I would need new shocks & struts and new tires to remedy the problem. On both occasions I took my car elsewhere and had the work done by other providers who noted nothing being needed and the vehicles have been fine. I suspect this franchise pads its bottom line by suggesting unnecessary repairs are required and I will not consult them ever again.

    This review is more for corporate Mavis than for this location, though corporate policies make the Mebane Mavis look bad. Let me explain. The website lets you book an appointment, but that appointment is basically meaningless. This location is almost always slammed and apparently understaffed. An appointment ought to have some meaning, but I arrived 30 minutes early for my 4:00 appointment, only to find they were massively overbooked. Luckily, the employee agreed to call another local location where I got in and out in under an hour.

    After being sent here from the Asheboro location, I arrived at the Mebane Mavis Tires & Brakes at 1:50 PM. They didn’t even lift my car or start touching it until 4:00 PM and didn’t finish until 6:30. As much I appreciate them for staying over and making things right unfortunately this type of lengthy service is common for this chain. I ended up waiting there until after their store hours (6:30pm), just to get a wheel bearing fixed that should have been handled quickly under warranty. I missed a 6 hours of work to make sure my fiancée’s car was safe to drive, and the whole process dragged out way longer than it ever should have. I also left a companion review about the Asheboro location, and after dealing with both stores, I can confidently say I will never recommend Mavis to anyone.
