- JKJustin Klazinga2 days ago1.0Fast, cheap, and communicative, but the job was done very badly. I was just in for an alignment. After this, I found that my car had some trouble when making tight turns, like the power steering was struggling against something. I took the wheels off and found that instead of loosening the boot that protects the rack and pinion seals, they simply turned the tie rods with the boot still attached. The result was the horribly mangled boots you see in the photos and the poor behavior when turning tight. Loosening the boots when you do an alignment so they don't get twisted is basically step one of a proper alignment so if they cut that corner this badly, I would seriously hesitate to trust them with anything else.

I contacted Mavis Idlewild location in Matthews and they got me in right away the very next morning. I walked in and they took my car right back and promptly fixed the problem. The facility is clean and all the employees were super friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them for all my tire and brake needs!
