I just had another fantastic experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Matthews, and I really want to highlight how exceptional they are. This is my second time renting from them, and the entire team is consistently friendly and professional. Justin, who helped me this time, was especially impressive. He was extremely helpful, full of energy, and just made the whole process smooth and pleasant.
They even upgraded my car, which I truly appreciated. The whole team pays attention to any concerns and handles everything quickly, even when they’re busy. They stay in touch while you have the car, and they’re always flexible and accommodating.
I can't recommend them enough. Thanks again to Justin and the whole team for the outstanding service!

Justin was such a pleasure to work with and so was the staff when they picked up the phone. It might take a while for them to pick up but totally understandable with the amount of attention and care they provide to each customer.
Their cars aren't generally very clean. I got a rental corolla because of a car wreck, and the dashboard was dirty and the windows so hazy I had to clean them four times. Have they ever been cleaned?

Would never recommend this company to anyone. I was in an accident with my personal car, and the other person’s insurance company covered my rental through this company. When I got there, they already had a car picked out, and the employee rushed me through signing the paperwork because they were about to close. He didn’t explain anything, didn’t go over coverage, and just pushed the paperwork in front of me so he could leave. The radio barely worked, the horn didn’t work, and the whole rental felt neglected.
On my way to church that Sunday, a deer hit me. Come to find out, it wasn’t covered because the employee never mentioned any kind of protection plan at all — he simply rushed me through everything and didn’t bother to explain anything about coverage.
When I returned the car about two weeks later, they told me I needed to pay my $1,000 deductible upfront. I gave them my insurance information and told them I had already spoken to my insurance company, and they would be handling the claim and the deductible. They were rude about it, brushed me off, and said their claims department would reach out to me and my insurance.
Five minutes after I left the rental place, the entire amount was drafted from my bank account without my permission. When I called, they told me their manager decided to take it anyway and that it was their “accident fee,” even though the accident involved a deer and couldn’t have been prevented. I asked if that meant it counted as my insurance deductible, and they told me I would still have to pay my insurance deductible on top of what they already took. They couldn’t give any explanation for why they didn’t contact my insurance, why no claim was opened, or why they drafted money from my account without authorization.
This company was rude, unprofessional, and careless from start to finish. I would not recommend them to anyone.
Provided a car with a broken automatic door - unsafe for me and my children - noticed within 10 mins of pick up. Door reopened while I was backing out of a parking spot. Then, I called roadside assistance they promised to have a new car towed to my home and pick up the defective vehicle - that was at 6 pm still waiting at almost midnight - no updates or info unless I wait on hold for a long time - I’m exhausted and over it. The entire business smelt like marijuana and I brought my toddler and baby with me, questionable practices at best. I don’t feel safe renting with this company and plan to report to the BBB- the day after a accident that wasn’t my fault I used their service, thinking the hassle of the accident was almost over- the amount of stress this company has placed on my day and the time I have had calling and being on hold, taking time away from my family. I really cannot believe Enterprise is still in business with the amount of confusion they operate under. Multiple tow truck companies were calling for the same job, no one knows what’s going on at this company.
Update- Company put in another request around midnight, tow trunk company called me and confirmed they were picking the car up to bring to me From the airport location in Charlotte, With it being late, they offered to leave the key under the Mat and text me when it got here. I received no follow up, there is no vehicle in my driveway, no key under the mat. When I called enterprise back this morning at 6 AM They said my request for the vehicle was still open But that they could not assist me And requested I call the Matthews location that since my previous vehicle is in recovery status I need a car by 8:30am, they open at 8am and I doubt I will have this resolved in 30 mins, customer service is not open and roadside assistance can’t help, I am stuck without a car with two young children and a chiropractic appointment regarding my accident, after using a company I trusted to provide a reliable vehicle while my car was in the shop. The roadside assistance team just disconnects call if they seem confused or don’t know how to handle a situation and they provide no follow up when vehicle pick up calls are cancelled/problems arise. To say I’m dissatisfied is an understatement.
