  We had a fantastic experience at Tire Center in Manteo. When I arrived they couldn’t find my appointment. However they still took me right back and completed an oil change, transmission flush, put 4 new tires on , did an alignment ,changed the spark plugs and a state inspection in under 4 hours.

  I have taken my cars Tire Choice in Manteo for inspections the past 3 years. The service has always been great. This week I took my car in to get the state inspection done. I thought my sports car needed brake pads. They ordered the pads for me but after inspection they realized my breaks were fine. The noise I heard was just some rust that had built up from not driving it. They only charged me the inspection fee.

  I brought my GMC Terrain to this Tire Choice in Manteo for new tires, alignment, and brake service. The car was running perfectly fine when I arrived. After the service, I drove about 40 minutes and the front right wheel got hot — the car started shaking badly and became unsafe to drive. I had to stop and get it towed back to the shop. When I returned, they said the brake caliper was stuck, but instead of taking responsibility under their 12-month labor warranty, they wanted to charge me over $700+ to replace it. The person who attended us even said, “I’m not paying for that — I didn’t install it,” which was very unprofessional and disappointing. My car went into the shop in perfect condition and came out in worse shape, costing me extra time, stress, and a tow. This kind of service is unacceptable. Customers should not have to deal with poor workmanship and denial of warranty coverage. Update: My GMC Terrain had no brake issues until after your service. The caliper seized right after the brake work, yet you refused to take responsibility. A “service credit” is not a solution for a serious safety problem. I won’t be coming back.

  Fast service with a smile! Didn't try to sell me the higher priced tire in stock but as I was able to wait a day for a quickly delivered tire that was good quality it was great, which on a fixed income is super important! Overall great service experience with honest people! 👍👍
