No help at all told me after checking 4 times I had the correct rotors for my car. After testing them they were wrong we called back and they couldn't figure out the correct part we needed. Finally had to order them and then they forgot to take them off the truck when they arrived at the store. Wasting our time and money. Then the older dude with black hair started arguing with us telling us its our fault that they gave us the wrong part after giving him all the info on my car and confirming with him multiple times. He was rude the whole time and acted like he didn't want to help. Crazy that his job is dealing with parts and tells me it's my fault when he confirmed it multiple times. Walked into O'Reillys and within 2 minutes of giving the info on my car they found the correct rotors. Hard for advanced auto works to read and do their job I guess

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
