We booked our reservation months in advance and even took the extra step to call earlier in the week to confirm everything was set. Despite that, our reservation was canceled the day of with no real explanation or accountability. What made it worse was the complete lack of effort to make things right. We were told we would have to drive all the way to Statesville to get a vehicle, which was extremely inconvenient, and no compensation or meaningful solution was offered. This level of poor planning and customer service is unacceptable, especially for something as important as a reserved rental. I would not recommend relying on this location if you actually need a car when you book it.

On the day of pickup, Olivia called and stated there were some issues with a return and advised that I may not get what I reserved. She assured me she was working to resolve the issue. By the time I arrived she had located a large SUV and had it clean and ready for me. I can’t stress how much I appreciated the early phone call with clear communication about what was going on. Olivia didn’t have to do that and could have just “surprised” me with the alternative vehicle. This was my second time working with her at the Lincolnton, NC location and both experiences were easy and pleasant (which I cannot say the same about other locations). I will definitely book using the Lincolnton location for all future rentals. I highly recommend you do the same. Jason C.
