Around 2 weeks ago, I purchased a 2018 Kia Soul from Carolina Auto Direct. Overall, the experience has done nothing but gotten worse. They had to return the car to Service before I could even buy it to fix things like having windshield wiper blades.
During the week after purchasing, I noticed some major grinding and creaking coming from the rear end of the car. I took a look under the car, and both rear shocks were bad. The boots torn and hanging. These parts are included in their "safety inspection."
I called CAD, they assured me that I would be getting a call back in 30 minutes, Nothing.
I called again, assured that it was the weekend and I would receive a call on Monday. Silence.
Today, as of writing, I called again, was assured I would get a call back, nothing.
Update 11/14: 7 Calls total, 1 call back to promise a call back. Nothing.

Sometimes things don’t go as planned, but CAD went above and beyond to make things right. I bought a beautiful C6 Corvette from them out of state, and from my first call with the salesman, I knew this place was the real deal — no haggling, just fair numbers and honest communication.
They arranged shipping to me, but the car was unfortunately damaged during loading and transport, and a check engine light came on shortly after arrival. Buyer beware, right? Not here. The shop owner personally sent his son with a flatbed to bring the car back to their shop, where they handled all the bodywork and repairs at no cost. Within a week, the car was back in my garage in perfect condition.
It’s rare these days to find a dealership that stands by their word. At CAD, a handshake still means something. I'll be a repeat customer for life, can't wait to come back when I'm ready for an upgrade.
