- WLWillow Lake Sheds Of LexingtonMar 4, 20261.0Went in this store today around 2:00 and was treated very rude from a lady there. I had bought a battery in Pigeon Forge Tn that was still under warranty. First of all she could not find me in The system even though I had talked to the store in Tn that had me pulled up and saw the warranty. Finally she said she would have to talk to the store in Tn to get info but I would have to wait 3 hours to get it changed. But then finally said to give her 15 min. And she could help me. I stood in the store for 30-45 min. While she helped customer after customer. So I called another store that pulled me right up in the system. I went to them and they had a new battery in within minutes. They could not believe that she could not pull me up and especially confused that she could not take a minute to put a new one in. I am a local business owner and when you have a customer you help them from start to finish and then you go to the next and then the next.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
