- PSPooy Stump1 day ago1.01:30 P.M. Sunday April 12. There were two black men, one was older and there was another one but he was a teenager, he was fine. But the older one had attitude, we didn’t say anything to him but ask him where something was and started blaming me and my partner about something that was already knocked down. Bad customer service from him, grown man with a beard acting like a child.

His professional approach and willingness to help me purchase the right items for my car really changed my morning into a great day. Not only did he look up the proper parts but locate them in the store and he also Install the items on my car. I really felt like I should brought him back a Starbucks coffee lol. Really appreciate the kindness and his ability to make my anxiety disappear. For the record., I used to go to the other auto store just down Knightdale Boulevard and the customer service was pretty horrible; thus, I refuse to shop there anymore. I’ll definitely use advanced auto anytime I need something for my car. Thanks again Cornelius !!!
- SKSam KamunyaJan 26, 20261.0STAY FAR FROM THIS STORES. Jale at the Knightdale store the young spanish guy very uncouth and disrespectful. Customer service lacks at this location and other I have seen. I bought a batter a couple of years back didn't even last a year bad and defective brought it to the store to have it looked and they admitted that it was defective and replaced it for a small charge because it was under warranty. Not even a year or two later problems through out got messages AUX. Went in today dude plugged it in tested and told me same thing defective battery. All the time this dude was clueless on what to do rude us ever. STAY FAR AWAY FROM ADVANCE.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
