I had previously had my NC inspection done at a different service, and had to withstand the high pressure of things that they said I needed (but didn't) - filters, wipers, etc. All I wanted was an inspection. Fast forward to earlier this week. I decided to try Valvoline. I was met by the manager and escorted to the waiting area. Asked if I needed anything. I declined. Then very promptly I was told that the inspection was done - all OK. If this location has had issues in the past, they're surely working to overcome them. I highly recommend Valvoline on S. Main in Kernersville for inspections, and have no doubt that they will also provide good service as well.
- BBBradDec 20, 20251.0Terrible service. This used to be a great quick oil change and inspection station. Now the techs are unskilled and fumbling. Went for an inspection and oil change, They did the oil change which took them Nearly an hour and killed my battery leaving the key half turned and the door open. They rang me out and then couldn't crank the truck because the battery was now dead. Changed the battery and failed the inspection because Battery change resets the computer. Why wasn't the inspection done. they charged enough to cover both. SO $300 LATER I still have no inspection and had an over priced battery installed.
