  Watch your back with this location. Your teeny tiny pinpoint of a star will magically get larger so that you need a new windshield. Not at all trustworthy. Watched them upsell a ton of others in the waiting room and then they did it to me. Took my business to my dealer instead.

  Safelite Jamestown has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. I was originally scheduled for a windshield replacement on March 19,but was contacted by Donovan to say that he felt that I should ask for the OEM glass since my vehicle is 2026 BMW. He stated that he would call “Annette” and they would contact the insurance company about getting that approved and they would call me by the end of the day. He did not. The following day, I contacted my insurance company and Safelite about the approval and when to get the installation scheduled. I never did hear back from the original installer. We were then approved for the OEM glass and were scheduled for March 25. On the day of the appointment I was contacted by the installer to say that we were not approved and would need to pay an additional $1075.00( in addition to the $1000) already paid. We explained to the installer and the woman at the Safelite office that we were approved and were not responsible for the additional amount. We then contacted our insurance company and did a three way call stating they had approved it and we would not need to pay additional fee. The woman at the office stated that the installer had already left the office and did not have the premium glass on his truck for the day, that we would need to reschedule or install the after market glass. We informed the woman at the Safelite office that this was the second time we had been scheduled, and given that we had a family member in hospice and needed use of the vehicle in the following days and that we would take the after market glass. The installer was scheduled to come between 1-6pm this afternoon, at 5:15pm he had not arrived, we contacted the installer and he stated he would not be able to come today because he had multiple installs left to complete. They have left me waiting around, rearranging my day for a service that never happened——-twice. When you are trusting a company with something as important as your vehicle safety, you expect reliability and honesty. Safelite delivered neither. Between the no-shows and the misinformation, this has been a complete waste of time and a disappointment. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere unless you enjoy being inconvenienced and misled.

  I brought in my 2021 Subaru Outback Touring XT for a windshield cracked by a small highway stone. The staff was prompt and courteous and the manager was especially patient and responsive. However, Safelite was not able to recalibrate the Eyesight system, and I had to return to the Safelight shop 2 additional times and was referred 3 other times to the Subaru dealer. The original Eyesight seems to have been damaged on the initial visit to Safelite and a replacement camera ordered by them was also defective. I finally asked to have the Subaru dealer install and recalibrate a third camera, and Safelite agreed and paid for it. Again, the manager was great, but I don't think Safelite has the expertise or software to handle the Subaru system and I would not advise any Subaru owners with Eyesight systems to use Safelite for repairs.

  Filed a claim through insurance. Safelite was quick with setting up an appointment. Called the day before to ensure I was clear with instructions and to answer any questions I had. Orlando I believe was my Technician and when he showed up, he immediately went to work. Super efficient and quick work. It was a clean replacement. Provided detailed instructions after and was very kind. Would recommend to folks!

  Absolutely outstanding performance from my technician (Andrew)! He got the job done in about an hour and I was able to be on the road only 30 mins after that! That was absolutely phenomenal! He even mentioned that if he had the wiper blades I needed he’d give them for free but I have an old vehicle and I’m so grateful they even had then windshield lol!!! I’m so very happy with the job done! And Andrew was an absolute doll! I’m a big talker and that didn’t seem to bother him one bit! We talked almost the whole time he did the repair and it didn’t slow him down one bit AND we had great conversation! The perfect service if you ask me!
