She put air in all 4 tires, recommended oil change and other services, all of which I agreed to have performed on the spot. I also want to recognize Jackson and Vic who provided Excellent service as well. I appreciate all of you! I highly recommend this location with 5 Stars!

A heavier-set Indian gentleman with glasses discouraged me from using my Groupon for an oil change, explaining that it might not work and that I would be charged full price if it didn’t. While I appreciated the heads-up, his approach came across as dismissive and overly insistent. When I asked him to simply try the code, he declined and told me to return another day. It is not his job to police a Groupon—it is his job to perform the service, and let the system determine whether a code works. Another employee stepped in, completed the oil change, and encouraged me to try my Groupon, which worked perfectly without issue. I have never had a Valvoline employee handle a situation this way. The interaction felt unprofessional and unnecessarily difficult, as if he was trying to avoid applying the discount. I was also ignored when I left and the gentleman did not apologize. I’m sharing this so management is aware of how unprofessional that interaction felt. Hopefully management will address this behavior so that future interactions reflect the respectful, solution-focused service I have always appreciated here.
