Long story short, a while back (On a Monday) I was running late for work, vehicle wouldn't start, jumping it wasn't working, but did eventually get it started and went immediately to AutoZone at 251 N Main St, Holly Springs. Upon arrival I could immediately see that the staff was overwhelmed and understaffed. Wes, was at the front counter, greeted me and asked how he could help/what I was needing. Told him what happened, he stopped doing what he was doing (working multiple phone calls, helping other stores with inventory, dealing with drivers, etc; he was busy). After a few minutes, it was easily determined my battery was beyond gone, it had passed and just gave me what I needed to start up and get there, it was over 5 years old.
It was a bit hot out, upper 90's, so he asked me to pull around to the rear to be in the shade and that he would swap the battery out and take care of everything. In doing so, he noticed that I was having issues walking (I have mobility issues at times, no pun intended) and pulled a chair up so I could sit inside in the AC, offered me some water and took care of changing my battery, checking the lines, cleaning the connectors/heads and making sure everything was nice and clean.
Now keep in mind, he's understaffed, still doing multiple things and taking care of me personally. Changing a battery isn't hard, but when you have only one good foot to walk on and can't balance that well, things get a bit tricky. And for him to be that busy, juggling more things than I can count on one hand, to say he went above and beyond isn't doing him justice.
So, if you ever need ANYTHING done, help, questions, or just good people to interact with; go here first. You will be put first, your questions and concerns will be addressed and taken care of.
Thank you, we need more like you my good sir.
