- SMSusan MillerMar 30, 20265.0Quick help on my road trip! I was scheduled to to head out on a 500 mile road trip this afternoon when I noticed the car was shimmying at highway speeds. A friend suggested the local Mavis Tire might be able to help me quickly. They let me know it would be about an hour before they could look at my car, and that it could be a tire balance issue but there was also cupping on the tire and it could be the shock absorbers. Thankfully, they were able to balance the two front tires quickly and I was on my way about 2 hours after I walked in the door. Fast and competent service!

I was not made to feel pressured into buying anything, the gentleman just said that for my safety I needed to be aware. Though I did not purchase any tires today I will definitely go back when I do finally get them.
