  Mr. BJ Bragg was Awesome! He found the right vehicle battery that I needed, he went beyond to change out my old battery even tho it was tough to get too. He noticed two filters on my vehicle that needed to be changed out and let me know. Everyone was very helpful and nice. I will definitely be going back!

  I am writing to report repeated unprofessional and discriminatory behavior by an employee named BJ at your Hillsborough, NC location. I waited over 15 minutes at the counter while BJ openly flirted with every female customer who entered the store. He ignored multiple male customers (including myself) who were waiting first, instead choosing to give prolonged personal attention to women—laughing, making prolonged eye contact, complimenting their appearance, asking personal questions unrelated to auto parts, and in one case even asking a young woman for her phone number right in front of other waiting customers. When it was finally my turn, he barely acknowledged me, provided one-word answers, and acted visibly annoyed that he had to stop his conversations to ring me up. Several other customers (both men and women) were visibly frustrated and one eventually left without being helped. This is not an isolated incident; I have been in the store multiple times over the past few months and observed the exact same pattern: BJ prioritizes flirting with female customers and completely neglects or rushes everyone else. This behavior is: Sexist and discriminatory toward male customers Highly inappropriate in a professional retail environment Making female customers visibly uncomfortable (several appeared to be trying to end the conversation quickly) Driving away business (multiple people have walked out) AutoZone should be a welcoming place for all customers, not a place where an employee uses the counter as his personal dating pool while ignoring paying customers who are actually trying to get help with car parts.

  I had a choice of calling any auto store , I called AutoZone for this reason. From the time Carter answered the phone to the time I walked in the door at AutoZone Carter was helping me select the right battery for my car and installed it. It was truly painless and very Refreshing to see such great customer service with a smile and eager to help with a smile. Good to know they’re still stores out there with such great customer service from everyone that worked at AutoZone In Hillsborough!
