  I tried to get an inspection here on Sunday March 29, 2026. The lady trying to inspect my 23 year old truck was tinkering under the hood a great deal which alarmed me because there's no emissions test on vehicles older than 19 years. I approached to see what she was tugging on under my hood and she told me I couldn't be on the red floor. I looked down and the red part was all of it. I left to the very closest exit and the little manager boy jumped in my truck with hazard lights still on and pulled it out to the lot and just left it running with the key still in it. I saw it unattended and got my keys and turned off the lights. After I waited 20 minutes in the waiting room to pay them the other gentleman informed me that they didn't do the inspection and the little manager boy would explain why. That kid said I had an attitude and not to come back. My family has done business there for a decade (or more) on 5 cars and trucks and just can't understand the funky little attitude because I didn't let them tear up my Dad's truck. It's all I have of his and can't let them mess it up hoping to make a few extra dollars. Don't trust them. 5 minutes up the road Strickland Brothers did it in 5 minutes, gave us each a water and swapped a license plate bulb for $13.00 without trying to sneak and tear the engine up.

  First off the customer service is phenomenal. Went over what they were doing every step of the way. Never hid anything and even showed every part to you as they explained it. So no way you can say they are making something up just to add something to the bill. The integrity and honesty of the mechanics/technicians really shines through in this way. As someone that has the ability to do all this work on my own cars just not at the moment really helps make me want to come back and use this service. Second and lastly, the price is really good. Yes any maintenance on a car has a pricy cost to it but Valvoline's service price compared to my dealership where I was going is night and day. Plus a bonus, the oil used in my oil changed has actually improved my engines performance. Where I am getting an extra +2 miles to the gallon on my car. The only thing that has confused me and I forget to ask the technicians is why are they recommending 3,000 to change oil verse the standard 5,000 miles. To me that is the only shady part to get more oil changes out of someone in a single year but there might be a simple answer that I just haven't asked for yet.
