Giovanni Hicks is a fantastic salesperson. Giovanni sold us our new 2026 Volvo XC60 Ultra. I thought I wanted to buy a XC40 but upon realizing we preferred the XC60, Giovanni worked hard to find exactly what we were looking for. With a bit of effort, he was able to work with management to find our XC60 in the color we wanted, with all of the “extras” and get it to the Hickory location. Giovani is honest, he got answers to all of our questions, gave us good recommendations, he has a good personality and is clearly a hard worker. We respect and highly recommend Giovanni Hicks!
Zack in finance was very fast, knowledgeable, personable and hard working as well!
Additionally, I highly recommend the Service Department. I have worked with them since 2013 and they are always on their “A” game! Great communication and excellent service.
They do not return messages unless it is about purchasing a car. If it involves servicing the car, they ignore.

Purchased a truck from here on saturday (3/21/26) the whole process leading up to buying the truck was super great, the salesman was super responsive and lovely to talk to obviously eager to make a sell as all salesman are. We drive over 2 hours to come get this truck, set up child care and pulled out the cash to go. To our surprise we get there and the sunroof is broken… keep in mind we spoke to the salesman HOURS prior to showing up and was not informed about this problem. Anyways we go ahead with the sell and buy the truck with intentions of it being delivered on tuesday or wednesday (3/24-3/25) which is now also a lie. I’ve tried to call and text and be patient with these people but they do not communicate and let anyone know anything and when you finally get a little annoyed with them on the phone they let you know they “tried to call but it said call failed so your phone must’ve been dead” which never happened and even if it said call failed you could’ve sent a text. Anyways to make a long story short save your time, energy and money and go to a different dealership.
Over the course of months I’ve had 2 repairs and negotiated the sale of a vehicle with Volvo. I’ve experienced instances of miscommunication, lack of follow through and lack of documentation that cost my family time and money and caused stress and hardship. I do not recommend selling a vehicle or having a vehicle serviced with this business.
Bought a 35k truck that had a thumping noise in rear after driving it off from the dealership. I called 4 times and left different people messages for sales manager Caleb to call me back but never got a response. After getting aggravated which I shouldn’t have had to do I finally was able to talk with him, and when talking with him could tell he had no concerns whatever to try to help with it. I told them I would never be back, and he did not care. I encourage people to look elsewhere when purchasing from them.
