  I really appreciate the way the Mavis Team Have gotten me in and out with no problem & they also treated me with the up most respect and I love how they get things done in a timely manner, i will recommend this MAVIS Tire & Brakes in hickory 1535 8th Street Dr SE. I Really appreciate Mavis team for helping me out and making sure i can drive safely.

  I went to Mavis Tires for the first time Saturday. The manager, Lisa, and the assistant manager, Richard was amazing. They really care about their customers and try to meet their needs. While they are looking your vehicle over, they take you and show you what they see needs to be done on your vehicle, so there is no taking their word for it, you can see it for yourself. They are amazing!!

  Walked in and immediately noticed friendly faces and was greeted nicely. Went in to check my a/c. They could’ve easily told me that it was over filled and needed a complete drain and refill. Instead they said it needed a little more Freon and sent me on my way. Honest people!

  Lisa is great.....she helped me with an issue that I had with my breaks that was created by someone that no longer works there whom gave me bad service. Thanks to Lisa, I have excellent breaks and rotors. I feel safe driving my car again.

  DO NOT GET WORK DONE HERE! These people have no clue what theyre doing! My wife took our vehicle here to get the tires changed, balanced, and alignment and its as if these people did everything wrong. When she got home the tire pressure read 47psi when the proper psi for our vehicle is 35, and its on a sticker inside the driver's door. I guess whoever did the work didnt know that. None of the new tires had caps on the air nipples, and they did not give her the paperwork for the alignment. When I drove it the vehicle was driving VERY bumpy and pulling hard to the right, so I took it back to the shop and I told them about it. I also asked for the maintenance paperwork for the work they did, which they either would not or could not provide. They looked up our vehicle and couldn't even find it in their system even though I have the email of the invoice they sent me. They took the vehicle in and said they fixed it. Guess what? It wasn't fixed at all. We ended up taking it to Discount Tire, who told us the balance was off and so was the alignment. So I had to pay them to do all of that correctly. While doing the balance they pointed out to me that one of the wheels was bent on the rim, thats part of why it was driving so bumpy, and I know for a fact the wheel wasn't bent before we took it to Mavis. Like I said absolutely do not let these people work on your vehicle unless you want everything done incorrectly, with damage to your property as a bonus!
