  The tech that came to my house (can't remember name) on 3/14/26 was awesome!! This is the kind of service that you will remember for years. If I could remember your name, I would have put it here. Thanks again for the job you did on my white 2003 Ford 150 in nebo nc. If safelight can find out who he was, please let him know about myself being grateful

  I got my windshield fixed yesterday while I was at work, and Dustin, the technician, did an excellent job. He also took the time to explain everything about the warranty and some helpful tips on how to take good care of my new windshield. It was a smooth and reassuring experience! Thank you, Dustin!

  The windshield replacement went perfect. I expected that ... they are the best. Here's where it got good. My lane variance warning feature wouldn't turn off. I took it back to them. A gentleman took me to my car and gave me a patient and thorough class on the feature for my car. He showed me how to turn it off/on ... encouaged me to test drive it and come right back and let him know if I was good. I was good. We had both worked in IT and had a fun chat and off I went. So ... they are great with the normal stuff and great with the abnormal.

  I recently scheduled an appointment over a week in advance. Driving on my way to the shop at 9:50 in the morning after taking off work, the technician called me stating i missed his call and that he called me 8:02 that morning canceling my appointment because the glass they got in for me was damaged. I’m confused why they would wait until the morning of the appointment, that has been scheduled for over a week, to turn around and cancel it 2 hours before my appointment. If the company is going to wait until the morning of to take shipment for the glass maybe they should be more careful in not damaging it. The guy from the shop in Hickory then turned and said “Well answering your phone would have been the best thing to do instead of just driving up here.”. So according to him, everyone should call the shop before their appointment and confirm that they are not negligent in their handling of the glass and make sure their appointment is still schedule. Very disappointed and decided to go elsewhere with my business, which this company also in Hickory was almost $100 less than safelite. Do not go to safelite for your business, go elsewhere local in your area.
